As the year wanes, today we honor the gifts it has brought—both seen and unseen. Gratitude prepares the heart to embrace the possibilities that await, like seeds lying beneath the frost, ready to awaken.

Setting the Space

Find a comfortable place to sit where you can feel at peace. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, inhaling through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

"Mothaigh buíochas i ngach anáil isteach agus suaimhneas i ngach anáil amach."(Feel gratitude in every breath in and peace in every breath out.)

Let your body relax and your heart open to the stillness of the moment.

Invocation

Call upon the spirit of gratitude:"A Spiorad na Buíochais, treoraigh sinn chun meas a bheith againn ar na beannachtaí uile a tugadh dúinn."(Spirit of Gratitude, guide us to appreciate all the blessings we have received.)

Feel this spirit surrounding you, reminding you of the beauty and abundance in your life.

Meditative Reflection

Reflect on the past year. What moments brought you joy? What challenges strengthened you? Whisper softly:"Tá mé buíoch as an méid a fuair mé i mbliana."(I am grateful for all I have received this year.)

Even the smallest blessings have their place, like tiny sparks that keep the light alive. Acknowledge them and let them fill your heart with warmth.

Now think of the year ahead. What dreams or possibilities stir in your spirit? Open yourself to these, trusting that gratitude creates space for them to grow.

Guided Visualization

Imagine yourself walking through a winter meadow, cléibhe gheimhridh, where the snow glistens in the sunlight. As you walk, you see small, dark patches where the earth peeks through the frost. These patches are fertile ground, ready to nurture new life.

In your hand, you hold seeds of possibility, síolta dóchais. Bend down and plant these seeds in the earth, one by one, as you whisper:"Fásfaidh na brionglóidí seo le grá agus le buíochas."(These dreams will grow with love and gratitude.)

Picture the seeds sinking into the soil, protected and waiting for the warmth of spring. Trust that they will take root and flourish in their time.

Closing Blessing

As you honor the blessings of the past year, may your heart remain open to the beauty and abundance yet to come.

"Go raibh buíochas mar do threoraí, agus go bhfásfaidh na féidearthachtaí i do shaol."(May gratitude be your guide, and may possibilities grow in your life.)

Open your eyes and take a deep breath, feeling gratitude filling your being. Step forward into the day with an open heart and a hopeful spirit.

"Beannachtaí na Buíochais agus an Dóchais ort."(Blessings of Gratitude and Hope upon you.)
