Preparation:Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably, either outdoors in nature or by a window where you can feel the presence of the earth. Light a small candle if you wish, and place it nearby. Hold a small token of nature—a stone, leaf, or feather—to anchor your focus.

Introduction:

Take a deep breath in, letting the air fill your lungs.Exhale slowly, releasing tension with each breath.Repeat this three times, allowing your body to soften and your mind to grow still.

“Saor mo chroí ó bhrón agus cuimhnigh orm le sonas.”(Free my heart from sorrow and remind me of joy.)

Invocation:

Close your eyes and picture yourself standing in a sacred grove. Around you, the trees rise tall and proud, their branches interwoven like a sheltering embrace. The earth beneath your feet feels solid and alive, warm with the love of the Mother of the Earth.

“Tha mi a’ gairm na Màthar, a’ chridhe is an stòr de bheatha.”(I call upon the Mother, the heart and source of life.)

Visualize the roots of the trees plunging deep into the soil, drawing up nourishment. These roots connect to the great heart of the Mother of the Earth, pulsing with ancient wisdom.

“Tha mi a’ gairm na gaoithe, mo anail agus mo shìth.”(I call upon the wind, my breath and my peace.)

Feel the air as a gentle presence, carrying your burdens away like leaves drifting on a breeze.

“Tha mi a’ gairm na grèine, mo sholas agus mo ghàirdeachas.”(I call upon the sun, my light and my joy.)

Sense the warm rays of sunlight, bestowed by the Mother of the Earth, wrapping you in a golden embrace.

Healing Visualization:

Place your hand over your heart, acknowledging the sadness and loss you carry. Hold it gently, as you would a small, fragile bird in need of care.

Imagine a soft green light glowing within your chest, pulsing with the life force of the earth herself. This is the Mother’s healing energy, flowing through you.

“Lèigh mo chridhe, na gealaich is nan rionnagan.”(Heal my heart, by the moon and the stars.)

Feel this light spreading through your body, touching every part of you with warmth and renewal. It moves outward into the grove, mingling with the roots, wind, and sunlight.

You are held in the Mother’s embrace. She whispers to your heart:"Tha thu mo phàiste, le slànachadh agus gràdh."(You are my child, with healing and love.)

Gratitude and Release:

When you feel ready, offer your gratitude to the Mother of the Earth and the elements that supported you. Touch your chosen token of nature, letting it absorb the remnants of your sorrow. It transforms this pain into wisdom, a gift to return to the earth.

“Tapadh leat, a Mhàthair, a thalamh, a ghaoith, agus a ghrian.”(Thank you, Mother, earth, wind, and sun.)

Place the token back into the earth, symbolizing your release and renewal.

Closing:

Take one final deep breath, drawing in the energy of the grove. As you exhale, say:

“Slàn gu làidir, slàn gu sìtheil.”(Be well with strength, be well with peace.)

Open your eyes, carrying with you the green light of the Mother’s love and healing. Let it remind you that you are never alone in your sorrow; the earth herself cradles your heart.

May this meditation bring comfort and renewal. “Biodh sìth agus slànachadh leat.” (May peace and healing be with you.)
